Under the pain, Lin Jianxi couldn’t respond to Ye Chen.

His body was burning. Every part of his body hurt. But, he repeatedly told himself.

Ye Chen promised that as long as he won the competition, she would stay with him forever, she would marry him.

Ye Chen is here. Everything is promising. Everything is fine. Such a beautiful world, how could he bear to leave it?

Lin Jianxi continually told himself to stay awake, don’t let it fall apart. Lin Jianxi’s consciousness was hazy. He heard a sweet voice calling him, “Host! Host, are you awake?!”

A huge yellow ball appeared in front of Lin Jianxi, and countless memories poured into Lin Jianxi’s mind. In these memories, he was called Gu Jianan, Jun Yan, Elt, and Shen Jingfeng.

These people had different identities in different times and spaces, but they all share one characteristic: They all fall in love with a woman named Ye Chen.

Lin Jianxi nodded and then expressed, “You say so much, but why should I listen to you?”

When Ye Chen woke up, she was on a large European-style bed.

The world Ye Chen came to this was a Sci-fi world, telling the story of a slum boy, Ming Hao, dominating the entire Interstellar. 

At this time, mankind had already divided its territory according to the planet, and the world was divided into three galaxies. One was the Yadong Galaxy,  inherited from the Eastern culture and adopting a monarchy. One was the Oster Galaxy, inherited from the Western culture and adopting a presidential system, and the last was Musen Galaxy, inherited from the Religious culture, uniting the governmental and religious affairs as one.

There were constant disputes between the three galaxies. People became destitute and homeless, and materials were scarce. When Ming Hao was young, he was sold to the palace as a slave with Lu Liang, an aristocratic boy from a declining middle-class family. He was discovered by the Queen’s secret guard. Thus, the two teenagers came to the Queen’s side after a heavy fight.

The two got close to each other. Who knows, when they grew up, they were favored by the Queen and chosen as Male Pets. Later, the Queen fell in love with Ming Hao and gave Ming Hao a lot of conveniences. Lu Liang was jealous of Ming Hao and kept trying to frame Ming Hao, but his attempts were exposed by Ming Hao. Lu Liang was forced to flee to other galaxies, he utilized his talent there and became an enemy with Minghao.

With the support of the Queen’s love, Ming Hao became the actual power holder of the Yadong Galaxy. Later, Ming Hao fought hard all his life and ultimately unified the galaxy.

After reading this story, Ye Chen deemed it more acceptable than the previous plot. However, the Queen was a bit…..

“How old is she? She likes two boys aged 17. How could she be this shameless?”

“She’s not old. She was seventeen when she fell in love.”

“So young? Tsk,” Ye Chen sighed and then said, “Oh right, who’s my character this time?”

“The Queen.”

2. 弟弟 – dìdì.  Younger Brother. A way to address someone (M) younger than you or address oneself (M) to someone older. Not restricted by blood. You can call a stranger in this way as long as he is younger than you. But in this case, Ye Chen is referring to her younger brother (most likely her cousin bc I don’t remember she has any direct younger brother).↵

The ppl asked him, “他心里是不是有人?” (tā xīn lǐ shì bù shì yǒu rén; Is there someone (a person) in his heart?) and Lin Jianxi answered, “我心里没有人，我心里有只鬼” (wǒ xīn lǐ méiyǒu rén，wǒ xīn lǐ yǒu zhǐ guǐ).

Notice that he didn’t answer with “yes” or “no”. Aside from person, 人 can also mean ‘Human’. So technically, his answer is the truth. There is no 人 (human) in his heart, only a 鬼 (ghost).

Now, with the assistance of the system, will the Villain able to fight against his fate?

Can we expect the Villain to safely live together with Ye Chen?

While the desc. said that Yadong is inherited from Eastern Culture and Oster is inherited from Western Culture. Yadong is actually similar to China and Oster is actually similar to US. 

And, MSB’s newest work, 剑寻千山 , is now finished. It’s quite short, only 94 chapters. But, uh, in my opinion, the ending feels rushed. Maybe it will be patched in the Fanwai, who knows. I suffer from Second ML Syndrome in this work. It’s not that Xie Changji is not good, it’s just that Shen Yichen is far from bad. There is no way for ppl surnamed Shen and Xie in MSB’s work to be bad. Oh, wait, Shen Zhiming is.

Anyway, I have explained the reason for my disappearance in my other translated novel. For those who didn’t read my other translated novel, long story short, it’s because I got the spicy cough as a souvenir from my cousin’s wedding and was swamped with work. I’m now back from death. Sadly there won’t be any make-up chapter for the missed update bc each chapter of this novel is too dang long. If I did it, I would be sent back to death lmao. So, sorry not sorry.

I would love to pick up another novel but ahhhh, my hands are full with TVIRAD and WFDO. I want to pick up another novel. I want to. I want toooo.

Even though I said that, I will make sure I have piled up some chapters for TVIRAD and WFDO as not to miss some scheduled updates like when I got the spicy cough if I ever pick up another novel. (It’s another QT Tragedy, hooray?)
